It didn’t take too long before we discovered
Flyball and The Woof Gang Flyball Club. We
joined Nikki’s class in April 2007 and followed
that with practice every week.
Savvy debuted in singles at Ramona
December 1, 2007 with a fastest race time for
the weekend of 5.183.
Savvy earned her Top Flight pin on March 15,
2008 again in Ramona where she earned 370
U-Fli points, broke the 5 second barrier with a
4.966 and the team took 1st place in our
division.

We rescued Savvy on June 5, 2006 from German Shepherd Rescue.
They thought she was a five-month-old longhaired GSD. After
checking her out we determined that she was really about 8 months
old and is probably an Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd
Mix. We have determined her birth date to be October 31, 2005.
At our local dog park we noticed she was out running all the other
dogs, including a pair of one-year-old Whippets. We knew we had
to find a sport that would allow her to run the way she likes to.
